VIDEO CONTEST – “CIAK, A CLIP FOR EUROPE”

REGULATION
The Centre Regional Planning (CRP) of the Region of Sardinia, in
the Communication Plan of the POR FESR 2007-2013, establishing a competition called
“Action, a clip for Europe” for the selection of audiovisual works on unpublished
Europe. The purpose of the contest is to spread the culture of European citizenship and
in particular, the values and the spirit that gave birth to and animate the European Union.
The competition aims to draw the attention and participation of younger
on European Union, on its current state and possible future prospects.

ART. 1 Purpose of the Competition
The competition is open to Italian and foreign university students enrolled in universities in Sardinia.
Participation is free and involves the total acceptance of these rules.
The ‘personal data will be used in accordance with applicable rules
confidentiality.

ART. 2 Works accepted
Audiovisual works have a theme for reflection on the state of Europe telling
their experience of European citizens, expectations and prospects. They should have
no longer than 3 minutes and may be made to the organizers
event on DVD. Will be required at a later date – only for
winning works – the digital format for publication on the web. E ‘can use
all solutions and technological support in the realization of profits.

ART. 3 Participants
Each participant – individual or group – can not send more than one work.

ART. 4 Music rights
Will be eligible for the competition only audiovisual productions that contain images and
original music and still images, copyright free.

ART. 5 Method and deadline
For the selection, the works must be submitted in 2 copies on DVD later
no later than 31 December 2012, together with information and contact details of the participant. Must, in addition,
be attached – under penalty of exclusion – the completed registration form with metadata
for publication in the portal system of the Region of Sardinia and the release
of use of the work relating to this contest, at the following address: Primaidea Ltd.
Viale Bonaria, 98 – 09125 Cagliari pointing in the envelope marked “Europe Day
2012 – Competition video “Lights, camera, a clip for Europe”.

ART. 6 Evaluation Criteria

ART. 7 BOARD
The Board of Examiners, appointed by the Head of Communications of POR
ERDF 2007-2013 after the expiry of the notice, will select the three best videos considered in
based on the evaluation criteria of the competition and the scores achieved. The judgments on the
awards of the works are unquestionable.

ART. 8 Awards
Students who have achieved the three winning videos will receive the following prizes:
Ranked # 1: i-pad
Ranked # 2: Digital Video Camera
Ranked # 3: i-pod

ART. 9 Presentation and awarding of the winning videos
The winning works will be presented and officially awarded.

ART. 10 Assignment of rights
The works submitted will become the property of the Autonomous Region of
Sardinia, which reserves the right to use for its own purposes and
particular for any occasions and events. Audiovisual works are also
www.regione.sardegna.it published on the website and in the system of thematic portals.
For the possible use of award-winning productions, participants will not receive rights or
economic rewards of any kind, type and shape.
