27th FISH FESTIVAL – CAGLIARI – GIORGINO – 1 TO 2 SEPTEMBER

The festival takes place on Saturday 1st and Sunday, September 2, will begin with Mass at 18:30 celebrated in the church of N. S. of Fatima, in the fishing village celebrated by Don Marcello Lanero.

At 20.00 there will be the distribution of fish, all accompanied by a musical performance of two boys and two dancers who will perform smooth and Latin American dancing until midnight.

Fritto misto: Five types of fish: trighe, shrimp, squid, gobies (occhioncelle) and squid.

Scabeccio: burrida, octopus salad and tuna scabecciau

On pisci a cullettu: (poor man’s fish), a poor meal, it is a tradition of the old fishermen Cagliari that used to eat the beans that no one ate.

The food will be distributed until all the fish, all accompanied by a glass of Vermentino wine cellar capital of Montserrat

Enliven the evening the musical duo “Pino and Marcello” with the beautiful ballerina “Julia.”

The association Poseidonia organize a canoe race, in the lagoon of Santa Gilla lagoon, Sunday morning elle 10.00.
